Tier criteria

• A — Strong, efficient, minor opportunity cost
• B — Situational or soon replaced
• C — Buy only to bridge a dry spell
• D/F — Skip or sell/replace immediately if possible

S Tier

Plasma (late game)

Top-end passive throughput for plots with full expansion. Pays back fastest when paired with Void upgrades and stacked can mutations. Requires massive coin savings — usually post-first-prestige territory.

Nuclear Fountain (late pre-prestige / post-prestige)

Huge coverage and fill rate. S tier for players saving toward prestige checklist costs who already own Water Towers. Overkill for first-hour accounts.

A Tier

Water Tower

Mid-late backbone machine. Excellent automation density per tile once plot expansion unlocks space. Transition piece between Sprinklers and Nuclear tiers.

Waterfall

First major jump from Sprinkler spam. A tier throughout mid game until Water Towers bulk discount duplicate waterfalls.

B Tier

Sprinkler

Essential early, but each additional Sprinkler after the third or fourth hits diminishing returns if Waterfall is one session away. B tier when over-purchased; A tier when first expanding automation.

Auto Tap

S tier for your first purchase, B tier after two duplicates unless no Sprinkler yet. Every account needs one; nobody needs six before Sprinklers.

C Tier

Duplicate low-tier machines when next tier unlocked

Buying another Auto Tap when Waterfall is affordable wastes plot tiles. C tier behavior — not a machine name but a common mistake.
